Browsing KOIndia's maps, state pages and search does not require an account. We collect personal information only when you choose to give it to us — for example when you register for the Painting Competition (name, age, school, guardian contact details, email address and phone number) or when you contact support.

We store limited technical information such as your language preference and bookmarks in your browser's local storage. This stays on your device.

Competition data is used to process your registration, verify your payment, issue your receipt, evaluate your entry and announce results. Support messages are used only to answer you.

We do not sell your personal information or use it for advertising.

Competition fees are processed by our payment partner. Card, UPI and banking credentials are entered on the payment provider's secure page and are never seen or stored by KOIndia. We retain only the payment reference, amount and status.

Search queries and translation requests may be sent to third-party AI models to generate answers and translated content. Do not include personal or sensitive information in these queries.

Registration records are retained for as long as needed to run the competition and to meet record-keeping obligations. Data is stored on managed cloud infrastructure with access restricted to authorised administrators.

The Painting Competition is intended for school students. Entries must be submitted with the knowledge and consent of a parent or guardian, whose contact details we collect for that purpose.

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your registration data by contacting us. Clearing your browser storage removes locally saved bookmarks, language preferences and cached answers.
